Daily Devotions
What are devotions?
Daily devotions are basically time spent with God; usually in a structured way. You can do them in groups or alone. We encourage everyone to spend some alone time with God every day, and one of those ways is through a daily devotion. Most devotions have a short scriptural passage along with a comment or story that relates to that passage to help in personal reflection. Then there is usually a prayer at the end. Ultimately, a daily devotion can be whatever you make it, as long as there is scripture and prayer involved. I personally, read a passage out of the Old Testament, a Psalm, and the New Testament, then spend time reflecting on how those passages might relate to my life. I then close with prayer; including all those on my prayer list. Below are some helps to get you started.
Blessings,
Pastor Curt
